All of our horses are well-handled, calm and gentle. They are confident and feel safe around people. We are committed to ensuring that their needs are met at all times, and that the five freedoms of animal welfare are observed. These five freedoms outline five aspects of animal welfare as directed by the RSPCA, and are as follows:
  • Freedom from hunger and thirst
  • Freedom from discomfort
  • Freedom from pain, injury or disease
  • Freedom to express normal behaviour
  • Freedom from fear or distress.
We foster an environment where both horses and visitors feel comfortable and respected in the presence of one another.

See if you can tell which of the five freedoms are covered in these pictures.
When there are challenges, the ponies know and can support you through them.
Come and interact with the ponies and embark on a journey of self-discovery.
Take a moment and see what reveals itself.
The ponies browse the hedgerows to select plants to maintain their wellbeing. We support this by offering essential oils, water buffets and herbs as part of their daily routine.
